VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST/TRAINEE VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST
Part-time positions:
Somerset Road Hospital – Position 1
15 hrs per week plus weekend/cover rota*
- Monday 7.30am-3.30pm
- Tuesday 11.30am-7.30pm
*Weekend cover rota
Saturdays approximately 1:5 (8.30am-4.30pm)
Sundays approximately 1:30 (9am-3pm)
Somerset Road Hospital – Position 2
12 hrs per week plus weekend/cover rota*
- Monday 7.30am-1.30pm
- Friday 1.30pm-7.30pm
*Weekend cover rota
Saturdays approximately 1:5 (8.30am-4.30pm)
Sundays approximately 1:30 (9am-3pm)
Thongsbridge Surgery – Position 3
17 hours per week plus weekend/cover rota*
- Monday 7.30am-1.30pm
- Thursday 1.30pm-6.30pm
- Friday 7.30am-1.30pm
*Weekend cover rota
Saturdays approximately 1:5 (8.30am-12 noon)
Sundays approximately 1:30 (9am-3pm)
We are an independently owned veterinary practice. Applicants will need to provide a high standard of customer service and clinical care, in a fast-paced environment, whilst promoting animal welfare and maintaining Donaldson’s excellent reputation.

About you:
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual, have great interpersonal skills & previous Customer Care experience. This is a busy and demanding role; you will be expected to keep your professional knowledge updated with CPD and be committed to improving our standards by involving yourself in training.
Previous Veterinary reception experience is preferred although not essential as full training will be given.
Candidates must have excellent communication & computer skills, be flexible to help cover annual leave and sickness, and have a positive attitude.
Starting salary for trainee positions – above minimum wage – dependant on experience
