Stock Supervisor – Burhouse Ltd Oakes Huddersfield

We are looking for a keen, motivated and reliable individual to join our mail order business supplying jewellery components and gemstones to the trade.

Ideal candidate would have existing experience of working with warehouse systems and bring new skills to our warehouse team.

Role includes prioritisation & organisation of the daily order picking. Working with management to assess staffing required for the order volume and running a small picking team.

Day to day running of stock on warehouse management system including point of contact with our system partners.

Being involved with warehouse planning and best practice knowledge.

Order picking, we dispatch 120 – 200 orders per week some orders are in excess of 50 lines per order.

Running stock counts and updating system with feedback to purchasing

Dealing with returns into the warehouse

Working with our customer services team to ensure any queries and issues dealt with promptly.

Supporting goods inward and ensure goods available for sale promptly once received into the building, including stock preparation.

As a small business you may be involved in other areas of the business at times and we require a team player who shows flexibility.

The role is physically active and yet requires attention to detail and an interest to understand our product.

Knowledge of SAP business one would be useful but not essential as training will be given.

Role to start immediately, Salary dependant on age and experience.
