The Boshaw Trout is looking to appoint a Sous Chef to assist our head chef in our busy kitchen.
The Boshaw Trout has a focus on local ingredients and produce creatively and skillfully prepared to be enjoyed with our award-winning ales.
Our relaxed, new contemporary bar attracts a wide variety of clientèle local to Holmfirth and those from further afield.
We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef with strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and assist our head chef. This will include everything from prep to cleaning and all other kitchen requirements.
The Ideal candidate
- Previous experience of working in a similar capacity is essential for this role and you will have a proven track record in the hospitality/restaurant industry.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours as and when the business requires
- Experience of managing a kitchen team.
