Honley Youth Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced project coordinator with a clear understanding of youth work. Someone with passion and drive to see new work developed and young people thrive.
This role has several key elements…
- Provide administration for the youth project
- Support of youth work staff
- Develop a partnership approach in the local community
- Create effective communication and marketing systems
- Development of a volunteer scheme
We are therefore looking for someone who can engage with and listen to young people and the wider community, working with them to grow new opportunities; someone with creativity and determination to turn ideas into reality, and someone who will take initiative and can communicate well with many different people and organisations. Experience in project management and strong administration skills are required
£12.50 per hour – 20 hours per week
This role is advertised by Friends of Honley, under the umbrella of Honley Village Community Trust, which was established in 2015. They rely on the generosity of local people, grant money, and businesses to fund and carry out projects that make our village a nicer place to live.
