Holmfirth Holy Trinity Church History Weekend

6A Towngate, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, HD9 1HA

The Church will be celebrating is rich history with a variety of exhibitions and displays and will be supported in this by Huddersfield & District Family History Society who will offer family history research to visitors.

The Church will have an exhibition surrounding its history and a new book recently written by Pamela Cooksey, a local historian, which covers the fifteenth century to the present day will be the centre point, along with a number of other related displays.

The Family History Society will support this with a display centred around their newly published book, A History of Hepworth, a nearby village within the Holme Valley, a project supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. They will offer family history research to visitors via laptop computers and their expertise to people interested in starting their research.

Refreshments will be available on both days.

Friday 14 September: 1100-1600
Saturday 15 September: 1100-1600
