Ideal session for those wanting to get more active but it’s be a while. These are brand new walks starting the 1st Friday of April for the month of April and then again in June. Join River Holme Connections' volunteer event and help us to make a difference. April's Third Saturday Work Party meets 10am at the white bridge, Sands recreation ground, Holmfirth, on Sat 21 April. We'll be litter picking and (weather permitting) planting. (Sturdy boots, gloves and suitable clothing required.) Hope to see you there!

Join Paul Gaskell for his "Trout in Town" walk and talk. Paul will take you through Spa Wood on this informative walk. Discover how good habitats and not-so-good habitats are affecting post-industrial River Holme, learn about aquatic wildlife and find out how we can protect and improve the river and its inhabitants in the future. The walk will leave from outside Scar Cafe, Lockwood at 11am. All welcome, please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
