Ten years after being burnt to the ground, Britain’s oldest farm shop Hinchliffe’s, is embarking on its next adventure by opening the doors to the public of an evening to their fine-dining restaurant, The Rusty Bull.

Award-winning family business, Hinchliffes, based in Netherton, West Yorkshire, rose from the ashes last year, after rebuilding their state-of-the-art premises, that was left in tatters after burning to the ground in 2010.

The doors to the stylish night time eatery, which showcase a menu consisting of predominantly locally sourced produce, including prime beef reared from the farm itself, launched on February 10th 2020. The daytime cafe launched with the shop in August 2019 with great success. Catering for over 5000 guest a month the cafe has become a go to destination for daytime diners. The cafe offers a modern British menu with seasonal and local produce.

Partner and a fourth-generation family member, Simon Hirst, said: “We are incredibly excited about the Rusty Bull and looking forward to offering our customers a new and exciting culinary experience.”

For Simon and his family, the evening launch of the Rusty Bull, named after the orange-coloured South Devon cattle herd the farm became internationally known for is the final piece in the jigsaw.
